I completed my degree in translation for the languages Spanish, Polish and Finnish at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germersheim, specializing in the areas of economics and tourism. I expanded my knowledge of economics at the University of Mannheim, where I studied English and business administration.
During my studies, several internships and student jobs helped me gain experience not only in translating, but also in qualitative market search, the tourism industry and teaching foreign languages in groups of up to 20 participants.
In 2014, I also received my certification for teaching German as a foreign language from Goetheinstitut to reinforce my practical experience both in terms of methodology and teaching.
In my free time, I like to do sports, especially soccer, badminton and running. I also like to read, which is why I have taken classes on translating Finnish literature into German, such as mestarinluokka/master class in 2013. One special project I completed was translating the Finnish graphic novel Perkeros, which Panini published in German.
